BIOGRAPHY
Robert Wallace was born in Washington DC and was raised a classical pianist from age five. The bulk of his classical and theory training was under Dr. Valerica Maican, a double doctorate in composition and piano, and student of the legendary Nadia Boulanger. Starting in 2005, he started splitting his time between the US and South Africa, where he added a focus on jazz piano, studying with pianists like Jason Reolan and Bokani Macha, until deciding to pursue classical piano and composition back in the US after completing high school.

Robert’s career has included multiple national and international awards for piano performance and composition, including performing twice at Carnegie Hall and at Vienna’s Ehrbar Hall. He graduated from Berklee College of Music in May of 2020, magna cum laude, with concentrations in Film Scoring, Conducting, and Jazz Composition. Now living in Los Angeles, he scores for sound libraries and other video projects. He is an assistant composer on HBO's new docu-series "Allen V. Farrow".

Robert's goal is to use harmony to add undiscovered depths of emotion to series, documentaries and films.
